If You Go Down To The Bakery Today
I go to the bakery quite often on the weekend. And it seems rude to ignore the strawberry cake. So I don't.
The walk to the bakery on Sundays is quite a social thing - I say "Hallo" to pretty much everyone I meet and they say "Hallo" back or "Guten Tag". It feels quite civilised.
I made Berner Würstchen for breakfast - and here's a very odd fact, I don't know of anyone else who eats fried sausages for breakfast. Berner Würstchen are like Pigs In Blankets (sausages wrapped in bacon) and are pretty tasty. Although I've got an idea they would be better with sausages and bacon from the Ginger Pig.
Oh and I read that Calum Franklin is now doing delivery kits. Having relished his artistry in London, I would be sorely tempted if I lived in the UK.
