Minimalist

The objective of minimalist photography is to pare it down to as little as possible but still acknowledge the object.  Also, to achieve a black background without a screen - in this case I have a white wall.  You can turn anything black if you keep light off it and/or spot meter on your object which does, of course, need  to be brighter than your background.  I used a macro lens on just a part of the apple and included a lot of negative space - there could be a lot of that coming up.

I'll add in an extra from yesterday at Waddesdon attempting minimalism!
