Hello hedgehog!

A few folk in the village have seen hedgehogs about in the last few days. It must be the warmer weather.

Lottie spotted this one in the field before I did, but wisely kept her distance! It was eating grass, by the look of it, or whatever moss or whatever is in the base of the grass. What a noisy eater! A steady munch, munch , munch!

I left Lottie guarding my willow wands and secateurs and managed to get very close to him without him bothering at all. He just stopped eating, sniffed the air and trundled away!
