Daffodils....

....pushing up through the dark earth to the spring, knowing somehow deep in its roots that spring and light and sunshine will come.....
The home health nurse came yesterday, and we talked with her about Tom's concern that he can't make it into the clinic for his lab draws. They DO have a phlebotomy team, but the team is short 2 people right now, so she'll have to check to see if they can fit Tom on their schedule to have his draws at home; even if they can, though, it won't be by tomorrow.  We have a lightweight transport chair on order, with a holder for the oxygen tank, but it won't be here until sometime on Wed.   I figured I'd call the clinic in the morning to see if they have W/C's available (as I've never seen them there), but at worst I'll just call the doctor and have him re-schedule or delay the lab tests.
