Kayak photo shoot

Wonderful spring day so we put the kayaks in at Lake Sequoyah and paddled the White River. Total of about 3.5 miles of easy paddling. So many turtles enjoying the sunshine. The geese were fighting over territory with many sitting on nests. Cormorants gathered in the trees (see extra). I spotted one blue heron off in the distance, but it flew off before we could get close. A little muskrat (or is it a mink?) posed so cute on the log watching us go by. I gained a few freckles and a slight sunburn on my arms. My husband lost two fishing lures with zero bites. Photo taking was a much more successful endeavor.
