First Robin Photo of the Year

And in extras the first song sparrow photo of the year( and only the second one seen , though a few have been heard). The excitement at dusk continues with the woodcock serenade and flights, sometimes late into the evening. Unfortunately the weather today was pretty dismal and alternated gray drizzle   and pouring rain all day, so only a few spots where I thought taking the camera out was feasible. That and 3 loads of laundry , pumpernickel bread and dinner , and pie crust all done today. I must admit I ran out of energy before the pie crust got turned into pop tart lookalikes.
