Well, this is curious. I assumed I was collecting a set of six possible cyphers, from Victoria to Elizabeth II, but as a mathematician, I should not have forgotten about the empty set. It seems that for a short period after 1879, some postboxes were produced without Victoria's cypher. I bet she was not amused!
