Aproveitando

... is one of those Portuguese words that is difficult to translate exactly - it sort of means "taking advantage of", which is what we did today with our authorised trip to Évora to collect my wrist brace (not glove as I was calling it). As soon as it arrived in the shop, they rang me and sent an authorisation to travel, by WhatsApp, but only valid for today, so off we went, without lunch, which I hadn't made yet.

Then went round a few places till we found the right steel for Mike to extend our gates (that's him to left of our car in the warehouse), and a few more places to buy a better chainsaw, as hasn't managed to get the old one working again yet.

Gratefuls:
- the brace has helped the pain (though made it difficult to type, so please forgive short comments)
- the utter beauty of the countryside, covered in swathes of yellow and purple flowers, and white rock roses
- the Judas trees in flower everywhere, filling the streets with glory (see extra, with bee)
