Leapin' Lizard

Not really leaping, just sunning himself until I came along. Got a couple shots off before his scurried into its' hole.

If you look at the thumbnail, you can see it is regrowing its' tail. They shed them when a predator catches them by their tail. Regrowth then ensues as they thank their luck stars to live another day.

Today is a bit chilly. I am grateful by Thursday we will be close to 80F. I am ready for some warmer weather.
