Hot Cross Buns

Some of my favorite moments of the day:
riding out to brunch
watching my brother make hot cross buns in his soon-to-be-in-laws' kitchen
orange juice
sharing the holiday with this new family
helping to create the Easter Cow
a nice, somewhat long electronic conversation
catching up
croquet with another new family in the afternoon
Cole's famous mango mojitos
meeting new, awesome people
getting a surprise Easter basket
wine with family and friends around the table in the blossoming backyard after a wonderfully grilled meal and a slice of carrot cake
discovering a new and wonderful new cheese (but promptly forgetting its name)
connecting with three families (one of them my own)
