Spring Cheer

Today the kids and I went to the local nursing home to plant some flowers and spread some Spring cheer. I just absolutely love elderly people! We got to meet a lady that is 102 years old. She was so sweet! The kids got to go around to all of their rooms and pass out flowers we made out of tissue paper. The residents loved them and loved having visitors. Then we went out to the courtyard and planted flowers in the flower boxes. I hope those flowers live... it's supposed to be cold this week.

It was a great time and I hope my little ones learned something about serving older generations. People in nursing homes sometimes get forgotten, but they are so very important!
