Walk

Semi lockdown, Six in the garden

We can now meet in groups of up to six to go walking. Today was a beautiful summery warm day and we had arranged a local walk with friends. We met in Salford Priors and walked around the farms, apple orchards and fields of vegetables.
The vale of Evesham is known for superb fruit and vegetables. In the extra there are workers picking a field of purple sprouting broccoli. Pre pandemic and PreBrexit there would have been many seasonal workers over from mainland Europe, so I don’t know how they are finding enough people to do it now.
We went to Hillers farm  shop and bought drinks and cakes for refreshments , but they have closed their coffee kiosk temporarily so we sat on the grass outside. It was so warm and good to be back doing something  normalish.
