Muddy Waters

Gorgeous sunny day in the South West, perfect for a stroll by the sea. This is part of the Severn estuary, which has (I'm reliably informed) the second largest tidal reach in the world. Anyway, lots of mudflats. Bit different from the seascapes I'm used to in East Lothian, but at least the kids don't come home wet and sandy.

After the morning's exertions, it seemed only appropriate to laze around the garden all afternoon, letting the kids tire themselves out with endless trampoline wrestling (ie four kids on a trampoline rather than one kid versus a trampoline) and games of 'Guf Guf' (don't ask, I didn't).

Mr B provided one of his fabulous roast dinners (local beef this time) and the evening drifted away in a pleasant haze. Nice day.
