Blackthorn Winter!

So I took Charlie and Pierce across the fields this evening. We played chase the pink ball. I see on the weather forecast that early next week there are going to be frosts at night and maybe even snow. My Mum always used to call it a blackthorn winter when we had cold weather at this time of year.
