North Gate

A day off in Windsor yesterday, now that the 'stay at home' order has been lifted. It was suitably quiet and even the park had groups / pairs of friends following current guidelines.

This was a new corner for me - a statue of Prince Christian Victor, a grandson of Queen Victoria with a distinguished military history, at the north gate of the castle with a GR post box.

Most shops were shut, of course (some permanently). The gift shops (and the town) were missing the tourists. In one abandoned gift shop the Queen wobbled away next to her obvious consort - Mr Bean!
