Locked Gates

After yesterday’s heat it felt really cold on our walk this morning. In an effort to keep Murphy clean we’ve kept to the paths at the park, less chance of any muddy digging. Through the locked gates by the council offices is the statue of Major Frank Foley. Working in the passport office during the Second World War, he used his position to help thousands of Jews escape from the concentration camps. I’ll have to get closer when everything opens back up.
