A Neighbour's Gift

A walk with the dogs was interrupted by our neighbour Adam's very sociable border collie. This morphed into a long chat, during which we admired the flowers blooming in Adam's front yard.

No sooner said than he disappeared into the garage, returned with a shovel and a bucket and dug out a clump for us to transplant.

I have no idea what they're called but our new arrivals caught the light beautifully this morning.
