Trout Season

Today was opening day for trout fishing. Last month, R and I had decided to make last year’s opening day a tradition: hiking a few miles up a small tributary, trying our best to catch a fish, followed by beers and dinner cooked over a campfire. Well the snow and rain dissuaded us from from participating in what would have been the 2nd Annual V and R Trout Opener Fishing Extravaganza. I guess you can say it’s been postponed due to weather. Instead, we spent a few hours this evening tying flies.
