Kangaroo paw

There's a branch of yellow/orange Kangaroo paw in the latest Bloomon bouquet. With the forsythia in full flower outside it makes for a soft yellow Easter image. For Flower Friday with thanks to Anni/BikerBear for hosting.

After some more delaying and initial refusal this morning, all so nerve wrecking and unnecessary, the council have finally been convinced to register Fumiko as a resident which means that as soon as this is processed and she'll get her official Dutch resident number she will then at last be able to register normally with a GP surgery and dentist. But the 6 months after the initial request for a Dutch residence visa/permit was sent in will end in ten days, so after that they will need to request new proof that she can stay in the country while the request to get a visa is being processed. Makes one wonder what is going on on the various ministries and their administrative institutions. What have the Immigration Services been doing while no foreigner could enter during the strictest parts of the lockdown ? Ban unnecessary red tape ! Grrr !
