Harmoniously entwined

I have been meaning to capture these two shrubs for several years but they are in a garden on a road bend on a hill, so dangerous to stop. But today the inhabitants of Bristol have abandoned their shameful city and there was no traffic to stop me from alighting to take this picture. Japonica and forsythia I think or is it jasmine?
