The Sunken Church

This church tower is on our regular walk. Folklore says it gets this name because it looks like the church has sunk leaving just the tower exposed. It was actually demolished in the 1860's after a new church was built leaving just the tower but without its bells which moved to the new church.

Lovely day for a walk today and the lawn got its second cut. I then had to do some work that I didn't quite finish before the end of this shorter working week.
