April Snow

Well not real snow, but the blackthorn blossom across the valley this morning. I don't think I have ever seen such a spectacular display in any other year. Although the trees all around still look bare, the buds are opening, and they will soon be in leaf. The white blossom of the blackthorn seemed somehow appropriate for a Good Friday blip, given the religious significance of the day (best viewed in larger size).
