Back to The Dales

I thought I’d take advantage of the change in lockdown rules and go for a stroll in the Dales. That proved to be easier said than done as it seemed like half of Yorkshire had had the same idea!
Finally managed to park in one of the Grass Wood car parks and walked through the lower woods and down to The River Wharfe, then along to Ghaistrill’s Strid and back. I was only a couple of miles down the road from the mayhem of Grassington yet hardly saw anyone. It sure was great to be back.
Finished the day off perfectly with a takeaway coffee from the cafe at Kilnsey Trout Farm.
