A Dozen Daffodils

Before the season comes to an end I set myself the the task of seeing how many different daffodils I could find in Pollok Park. 

Some were part of large clumps others, in ones or twos were scattered through the woodland. I found twelve but I suspect that that are a few more where the differences are not quite so noticeable.

Another lovely day with the sun shining from first light. The boys came to cut my grass .... what a difference the first cut makes. I need to scarify it again before they return in a fortnight .... still far too much moss. Wonder how long I will have to wait for the first dandelion to claim its spot in the lawn!
