Trip to Birmingham

It was exciting and scary to travel up to Birmingham today to take Stan to his Mum’s sister where he will be living when he  starts his new job . They have just bought a Victorian house in Edgbaston which is like something out of the Secret Garden - this is the old potting shed which although tumbledown still had the original potting bench - so atmospheric. Stan will have a room in the old servant’s quarters so he will not be short of space . The restaurant is nearby .
