Magnificent magnolia

 Beautiful day! I got out early this morning, to avoid the crowds, for a run to Saughton Park and back along the Water of Leith. At the park I wandered round, listening to the birds and enjoying the lovely surroundings. This wonderful magnolia is near the beautifully restored bandstand.
In the afternoon I pottered about in the garden, although it was so sunny and warm I spent most of the time sitting on the bench admiring the spring flowers.
Weather forecast for the next few days not looking so good unfortunately, so it’ll be back to the woolly jumpers. :-(
