Up the river

We had a lovely day today, weather included.
This morning we met up with son and family and walked (children scooted) through the Barry Buddon training range to the lighthouse. If there's no firing or other exercises access is permitted to this extensive area of dunes, rough pasture, moor and birch woods which is an important wildlife area. It's a 2mile (3 from their house) walk each way to the sea and was busy today with loads of walkers and cyslists. From the beach there's a different view of Dundee.
We've never been before, apart from the landward edge, and must go again another time it's open.
Lunch was had in their garden then it was home, a seat in the garden for an hour with my sewing and then some gardening.
