Walk of Witness

Obviously we couldn't organise our usual walk of witness today, with members from all churches but, due to the "rule of six" coming in and the fact that there are six clergy across our ecumenical group, the ministers were able to do the usual walk on behalf of our congregations. 

It seemed to be more moving than usual. There is such a sense of sharing together with our current ecumenical partners. A great privilege to take part. 

That was in the middle of the day. We'd already done our Good Friday service on Zoom. After a quick fish and chip take away in the church hall we went on to our service in church. Such a powerful day. 

I went out for a walk around Orrell Water park after the service and then had a relaxing evening.
