I know I know it's a blip cliche and there are loads of them around, but I really look forward to the first daffodils in the garden. It's a milestone in the year, a glint of yellow in an expanse of green, brown and grey, so I will try not to feel guilty.

Also I see the grass needs cutting at the earliest opportunity
