Under glass

A week has zipped by. The kids and I must drive home Monday. I wish we could stay longer, but they have school. W. will stay on, though.

A late evening blip of a dresser top by Marti’s front door. Outside, it’s chilly and clear and should frost again overnight. A train whistle is blowing in the far distance. D. is playing down the hall with Felix, hopefully tiring him out a little bit. W. and I have just said goodnight to Harry and Ellie next door, and to Marti, who’s staying with them again. We walked back across the grass under oodles of stars.
