They’re back!

I came across this lovely crane this morning, less than ten minutes from the village.
They’re such impressive birds being about 1.2 metres tall.
They leave this area in the winter months and fly south, perhaps to England or Spain.
Fortunately for us, they return and I hope it isn’t too cold for them over the next couple of days as our weather forecast is for strong winds and snow!!!
