Derby Guildhall and Waterfall

Another day working in Derby and a lunchtime walk into the city centre.

For my blip I have chosen this view of the Guildhall with William Pye's "Waterfall" in the foreground. This piece of public art was installed in 1995 when the area in front of the Guildhall was pedestrianized. Many people hate it, but kids generally love it because they run through the water, which is a fun thing to do in the summer at least.
