Young Sparrowhawk

Woke up this morning to a couple of inches of drifting snow!  That wasn't expected.  Looked out at the horses in the back field and spotted a young Sparrowhawk sat in a Hawthorn hedge.  He wasn't bothered about the horses, he just sat in the tree for maybe 10 minutes then flew off.

Some days are just special!

In other news:  Covid second jab is in progress...  Thick head, shivering and headache.  Quite a few friends have said the second jab is a toughie, I thought I'd escaped it.  Afraid now...
