Trip to Dungeness

A bitter cold Easter Monday, but the sun was trying to beat the cold by shining through the beautiful blue sky.  A small piece of beauty the original Victorian lighthouse, that stands next to the large and ugly nuclear power station.  Dungeness is a peculiar place, like an apocalyptic landscape, but there is a lot of beauty in the nothingness of a desolate landscape.  

Our outing was to bird watch as the wildlife that is usually found in this area is often red endangered birds, but today there were no birds only seagulls and crows.   But it was good to get out and the kids loved the change of scene from the 4 walls.
