at last

We have the stove fitted. All went smoothly. Advised to burn one log today, two tomorrow, then it’s ok use normally. Mr I has to put the wooden surround back - it’s currently leaning against the wall - and some bits of plastering, then we’re adding a few tiles down each side. It was so cold this morning, it even snowed a little bit. We felt so sorry for Mr Sweep on top of the scaffolding in the freezing wind feeding the flue down the chimney. Made him lots of coffee though.
