Pillars of Hercules

This London pub dates back to 1733 and is referred to by Dickens in A Tale Of Two Cities. Apparently it has also been popular with Martin Amis, Julian Barnes and Clive James. I was there because the late John Martyn drank there when he was part of the London folk scene fifty odd years ago.... I saw him live many many times and it was not hard to imagine him in there with an afternoon eye opener.
