Saxifrage

A very cold early morning walk with the spaniel up through Sheffield Forest near Nutley on the border between East and West Sussex. Despite the cold (there was a brief flurry of snow) there were lots of bluebells starting to open up and I even saw a Red Admiral but the tiny yellow flowers of the Opposite-leaved golden saxifrages growing in drifts alongside one of the streams was the highlight.
