There is an Easter Garden with a mockup of a tomb outside St Mary’s church in Dalkeith   Before Easter some cards had been added on one side of  “Items and actions that spoil the world and cause harm to others” and on the other side  “Ways that we can join in saving God’s creation”.   On Easter Sunday the stone was rolled away revealing an empty tomb and now it is decorated with flowers and painted stones bringing the true Easter message to all those who pass by into Dalkeith Park.
