Compton Verney

We went to Compton Verney this afternoon and met Maureen and Ian.  We had a good walk and a nice chat.  There were quite a few people there, most seemingly with children who are still on holidays, but there was plenty of room to walk and keep distance.  The wildflower meadows were awash with shooting cowslip flowers.

The resident pair of grebe were on the house side of the bridge for a change and I managed to get some nice shots.

I've "double exposed" the house with one of the grebe pictures for today's Wide Wednesday hosted by BobsBlips, theme double take or exposure.  The extra is one of the ladies of the bridge, all four of whom were wearing their Easter bonnets.
