Nuthatch

The weather has been bitterly cold here today - biting in fact!
#2 grandson popped round to help paint an outside wall this morning.  He's still furloughed - starts back next Monday, so I got help just in time! It is now looking extremely white and bright. 
I the afternoon I went to another friend's farm where she has a bird hide (well, landrover back with netting over it) and I sat there for an hour and a half watching the birds flying in for food.  I saw the woody, this pretty little nuthatch, goldfinches and several different members of the tit family as well as chaffinch and sparrows.  A lovely afternoon - but again it was bitterly cold so I was delighted to have a warming cuppa and chat afterwards.
