Blackbird

It felt hard to get going today, another grey cold day today, I’m so ready for more of the warmth we had last week - come back Spring!
I finished Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell today, and enjoyed it, although it was sad.
This afternoon I walked over to a friends and had coffee and cake in her garden, lovely to see her but come on weather!
I did see a heron from out of the kitchen window - which I’ve never done before, and some nice orange tulips but I’ve just chosen this little blackbird for today
