Winchester cathedral from the East

This morning we walked into Winchester and back, via the  village of St Cross, and beside the River Itchen. This view is of the east end of both the cathedral and of the city, taken from  the  St Giles Hill viewpoint, looking up the High Street..
The green roof in the middle of the photo is on the Guildhall. At the top of the High Street you may just be able to make out Westgate, the city's one remaining gate, once a prison, and now a museum.
