Erythronium "Pagoda"

The main aim for the day was some preparation at the Lodge of the area which we are turning into a "wild flower meadow" with varieties particularly liked by Butterflies.   That wasn't as successful as hoped as it rained and I kept having to take shelter during the worst of the weather.   OK "nesh" I admit.  When we got home it was even worse so sadly I called off my wander with Kanyl.

Galloping round the garden desperately looking for a blip without getting too wet I spotted the buds on the "Dog's Tooth Violets".   They were one of the things I snatched a shot of.  I prefered this shot to anything else I took.
