Bullock Squeeze!

We met a friend and walked from Burston just outside Stone today. We tend to keep our walks in not so popular spots at the weekends.

We encountered plenty of lambs and cows. This field was full of extremely curious bullocks. So much so that they trotted down the field at some speed to greet us. I'm a bit wary of cows and was glad we didn't have a dog. We did manage to get through the gate before they were shuffling each other to get to the front of the herd to take a peek at us. Some even allowed us to stroke them.

It was a beautiful sunny Spring day with very little wind. And so very dry underfoot which was quite unusual for this time of year.
