Devon countryside

Another day spent with the girls.  Amelia was very excited as it is her 9th birthday tomorrow.  She went off to play with her friend in the afternoon and we took the little one to the local seaside.  
We had ice cream, chips and apple juice overlooking the beach.  We had to protect our food from the gulls who were determined to swoop in and steal anything they could.  The little one is fearless though.  She put on that determined face and kept the chip box very firmly closed.  
We dropped her back at 5.30 pm. This is the view from their garden.  I never take the Devon views for granted.  I still have to pinch myself that we live her.
