Organised chaos

Here is the year 8 alternative curriculum day I mentioned! The kids spent the morning doing the trade game! The game is designed to show them how world trade works!students are a assigned a country and have to trade in paper shapes to the world bank! The students get paper and equipment based on the wealth of their country and have to make as much money as possible! We had a team if UN police to keep order (although the world bank did get robbed of blue paper at one point) and my team, the world media, reported on what was happening 'around the world'. It was a fantastic morning and the students were a credit, they worked so hard and this picture shows their focus and determination to get trading!!!!
