Replica Prow of a Saxon Ship

This fearsome creature was  on the prow of a Saxon ship found in Belgium, now apparently in the British Museum. This copy is to be seen at West Stow Country Park near Bury St Edmunds where there is also a reconstructed Saxon Village.
