We have had a beautiful day, with bright sunshine and much less wind than yesterday.  We had a pleasant hour or so at the loch, but I only took one photo......

It is sad to hear of the death of the Duke of Edinburgh.  When I was a teenager he came to Langside College in Glasgow for an exhibition, and I was a representative of our Climbing Club, and was able to meet him.  My recollection is that I thought he was extremely good looking......He had a good life, lived to almost 100, and was able to influence many people, especially young people, in their achievements.  RIP Philip.
