Finch Friday

A rare treat for us today! An actual meet up - socially distanced outside of course - with other human beings! Our old next door neighbours invited us up to their house for lunch and a catch up as we'd not seen them since before Christmas, so it was wonderful to be with different people again! Exhausting though!! I'm ready for bed already!! But it was a lovely catch up and thankfully the weather was kind as the forecast was for rain but it stayed sunny and mild!

Home to some nice treats in the post that a friend sent for Easter and the Mail service had misplaced! Bu thankfully it found it's way to me so looking forward to eating easter sweets for a while to come!  The sparrowhawk also made a brief revisit, and thankfully didn't see this very cute goldfinch that was hiding in the magnolia tree!
