A Big Step Forward!

Hooray!  Progress on the kitchen front at Periwinkle Cottage!  Yesterday the cabinets were delivered and installed, and hopefully soon the countertops will be measured and then delivered and installed soon.  Still waiting (ad nauseum) for the arrival of appliances, although we do have the fridge, which is currently squatting in the middle of the living room floor. 

Extra shows the ceramic tile which will be installed on the wall to the left (next to where the fridge will go) and the one with the window facing you in this image.

On a sad note, heartbroken for the poor Queen who lost her husband of more than 70 years today.
